Another world first and something to behold - A Bang & Olufsen Beosound Shape array that is the largest system yet deployed in a residence....... in the world!
Take a client's garage, which also happens to be a world class environment and winner of numerous Architectural awards, and add the B&O Shape array and what do you have - well, it’s a space that becomes a multi-function entertaining environment where the client will dine with 40 or so of their closest friends - or a dedicated listening space where the sound stage of the orchestra playing allows you to pinpoint every instrument - or perhaps a dance floor with exceptional musical performance and space to explore every move. As a matter of fact it will be all of these.
The engineering that went into this exquisite system started with our tried and true documentation where every element was designed to suit the environment. 35 iterations of design were tabled prior to settling on the abstract we now have. We bracketed through the acoustic wall slats onto which we secured the birch-wood marine play support structure that in turn held the B&O shapes. The effect of this is a floating piece of art and a rock solid performance.
Once again its an outstanding effort from the AVD Australia and Project Connection teams and of course thanks to our special long standing client who took on the vision to undertake something that is just a little bit out there.
